At Belvedere Trading, our Team Leads are responsible for designing and leading projects from start to finish. They are thorough in code reviews and push for quality from their team members. Team Leads are very well versed with the current codebase, its constraints and problems, all the while gauging risk impacts by looking at design and code. This role is also tasked with nurturing and enforcing technical practices among team members.
The Model Infrastructure and Reporting Team is responsible for the generation of trader-facing reports, including risk, PnL, position, and trades, while also handling the generation and dissemination of theoretical values. The team is also responsible for the data architecture of how the model inputs are stored and used in our system, and for improving its extensibility. While the latency sensitivity is on a different scale as other parts of the system, it is still crucial to optimize, especially when considering the speed at which the model is updated, and the dissemination of those updates and theoretical values to the rest of the system.
