Market Data Officer

We are looking for an experienced Market Data Officer to join our Global Market Data team and support the Market Data Specialist. In this position you will work closely with our trading, risk and technology functions in EMEA, APAC and the US, as well as with various Exchanges. You will coordinate and support the access to market data internally and you will manage the external contracts, the periodic certification of market data access, invoicing, information & audit requests. For Flow Traders, this is a very important role with a Global scope.

What you will do

• Serve as a single point of external contact for all market data requests for all Flow Traders legal entities
• Analyze existing market data usage across Flow Traders legal entities and catalog and update them in a database
• Support with internal customer SLA reporting for regular team meetings and deliverable updates
• Handle day-to-day administrative inquiries from internal business units, including expense management, invoice reconciliation, monthly exchange declarations
• Conduct quarterly and ad-hoc business reviews to identify savings opportunities and tracking projects and assigned tasks and providing status to management and key stakeholders
• Improve efficiency of end to end market data processes from request to new suppliers and payment of the invoices

What you need to succeed

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position in the Finance or Procurement area
• Experience with the contractual requirements of market data suppliers (legal, procurement)
• Experience with handling market data auditors and data requests
• Demonstrated analytical skills and great attention to detail
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Fluency in English both written and spoken
• Knowledge of Bloomberg, Reuters or other data vendor systems is considered a benefit
