Quantitative Trader

Job Description

About the Position:

Interns have the opportunity to learn about market making, trading and pricing financial derivatives. Our interns work side-by-side with experienced traders and are given more responsibility as their understanding and learning progress. Interns also research equities, derivatives, indices and financial markets. Summer intern education is supplemented with lessons in a classroom setting, where both trading theory and practice are covered. Interns are encouraged to participate alongside firm traders in mock trading sessions twice weekly. Interns work approximately 9-hour days, Monday through Friday. We encourage our interns to enjoy their weekends in London and to take advantage of what the city has to offer.

About You:

The internship is highly quantitative and technology driven. Applicants should be able to do quick mental arithmetic and have a good understanding of probability. Candidates must work well on a team and perform in a stressful and competitive environment. Previous experience or course work in finance, business or economics is not required. We are interested in hiring responsible, motivated, adaptive and logical thinkers.

Please note that while we're working remotely right now, we're hoping to to host our 2021 internships back in the London office if public health conditions allow.
