As part of the Behavioural Risk division of Macquarie’s Risk Management Group, the Risk Culture team assist Macquarie’s operating and central service groups to determine the soundness, and enable the alignment, of culture to drive good risk outcomes. A sound risk culture has been integral to Macquarie’s risk management framework since inception and continues to be of high importance to the Group.
We’re looking for a Senior Analyst to join our Risk Culture team to support Risk Culture uplift, initially via a significant assurance program. You will be responsible for supporting the team in conducting a bank-wide assurance and testing review of a risk culture action plan. You will engage and build strong working relationships with senior business and functional stakeholders to gather and review evidence and closure documentation, documenting issues and actions. You will work with senior Risk Culture professionals to prepare for monthly steering committee meetings, action plan meetings, as well as closure memorandums.
To be successful, you will have experience in an assurance function, internal audit or a comparable risk and control-related role at a major financial institution. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, an eye for detail, a strategic outlook, and the ability to distil complex issues to clear and concise briefings for management. Your organisational skills and ability to manage deadlines will contribute to team outcomes and drive effective ways of working.
