WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Responsible for accurate and timely processing of payroll related activities such as salary, Individual Income Tax (IIT) calculation, payments
- Ensure IIT returns are filed accurately, timely and in compliance with tax authorities
- Work closely with HR team to ensure remuneration information are obtained in accordance with predefined procedure
- Act as the main contact to work with external service providers for payroll and IIT related matters
- Monitor IIT related legislative and regulatory developments or changes to ensure the company is compliant with latest tax rules
- Responsible for booking entries in accounting system and perform monthly reconciliation for payroll, bonus accrual, IIT, IIT rebates
- Prepare various payroll calculation and reports for accounting, budgeting, management reporting and regulatory reporting purposes
- Handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality
- Responsible for answering inquiries from employees related to payroll and IIT
- Develop and embed best practice of payroll processes
- Implementation, enhancement and maintenance of internal developed and external payroll systems
- Act as the second Accounts Payable to perform daily tasks such as bank reconciliation, process bank payments
WHO YOU ARE:
- High competency in verbal and written English
- At least 4 years’ relevant working experience, preferably from an accounting firm, multinational organization or payroll service provider
- Excellent in data processing
- Proactive, ability to meet critical deadlines and work under pressure
- Ability to work independently and take initiative to define and resolve problems
- Strong internal control mindset
