Research Assistance Intern

WorldQuant develops and deploys systematic financial strategies across a broad range of asset classes and global markets. We seek to produce high-quality predictive signals (alphas) through our proprietary research platform to employ financial strategies focused on exploiting market inefficiencies. Our teams work collaboratively to drive the production of alphas and financial strategies – the foundation of a balanced, global investment platform.

The Role: We are seeking exceptionally talented Research Assistance Interns to join our team.
我们正在寻找优秀的研究助理实习生加入我们的团队。
  • Assist researchers in building algorithms and models;
  • Conduct research on quantitative finance academic literature;
  • Explore and analyze market data;
  • Other tasks assigned by senior managers
  • 协助研究员构建算法及模型；
  • 对量化金融相关的学术文献进行研究；
  • 探索并分析新的市场数据。

What You'll Bring
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree from a leading university in science or engineering majors, including but not limited to Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and so on. 
• Ability to work at least 3 days per week, for a minimum of 6 months 
• Proficient in Python and/or C++; Familiar with Linux/Unix
• Research mind-set: a deep thinker, creative, persevering, attentive to detail, etc.;
• Willing to learn and ability to pick up new concepts quickly
• Dedicated and self-disciplined with a strong work ethic and willingness to help others
 
• 中国大陆或香港重点大学本科或以上学历在读，科学或工程类专业（包含但不限于数学、物理、计算机、电子工程等相关专业）学生。可连续工作至少六个月，每周三天或以上。
• 熟练掌握Python和/或C++等编程语言，熟悉Linux/Unix操作系统
• 拥有研究型思维品质：深入思考、有创意、坚韧、关注细节等
• 乐于接受新事物，有快速学习的能力
敬业、自律、拥有较强的职业道德并乐于帮助他人
 

Position based in Beijing, China.
