Software Engineering Intern

The Role: We are seeking exceptionally talented software engineering interns to join our team. As a Software Engineering Intern with WorldQuant, your job will include processing and analyzing financial market data that may require big data analysis. You will be handling various types of financial data in large amounts, identifying its value, and facilitating its use by implementing cutting-edge technologies.
What You’ll Bring:
- Pursuing Bachelor’s or above degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields.
- Graduating in late 2022 or 2023
- Possess core technical skills, including the following:
- C/C++ (required)
- UNIX/Linux (required)
- Perl/Python/PHP/JS (desirable)
- Database Administration/Programing (desirable)
- Knowledge/experience in generic programming and algorithms (STL/boost) (desirable)
- Experience in designing and building Web applications is desirable
- Experience in working with financial market data is a plus
- Be proactive and possess good communication skills within a team environment
- Proficient English reading and writing skills
