Primary Responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities & partnerships through outbound lead generation, research and prospecting for the environmental commodity markets
  • Maintain a self-starter attitude while creating outreach strategies for new lead generation methods
  • Identify customers’ current and potential needs through a methodical discovery process
  • Map identified customer needs to the applicable service offerings and develop strategies to effectively articulate solutions and value add
  • Monitor and attend meetings with prospects while handling the introductions and follow-up with the Sales Traders
  • Attend product training conferences and develop an understanding of our communication infrastructure

 

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate Degree in Economics, Business, Environmental Studies or a related field
  • 0-2 years of relevant sales or business development experience
  • Dynamic, “outside of the box” problem solver with a “roll up your sleeves” mentality
  • Highly self-motivated person who thrives in a dynamic work environment and demonstrates a flexible and adaptable work style that responds quickly
  • Ambitious, innovative and team-oriented; this highly valued role will require an intelligent professional with a commercial skillset and an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Presentation and client communication skills are essential  

Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000

Actual base pay may vary based on various factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, level and experience. The base pay is just one component of the total competitive compensation package for employees.
