Operations Relationship Specialist

  • Enhance relationships with key service providers, vendors, customers, financial advisors, and wholesaling staff. Provide proactive and regular communication on product related fund events.  Provide timely support for portfolio managers, including working with institutional trading partners.

  • Monitor inbound customer calls, customer correspondence and perform quarterly statement review with a penchant for detail to assure customer service excellence, accuracy and is compliant with industry regulations.

  • Act as a resource to fully resolve escalated customer and financial advisor service issues; perform root cause analysis, communicating resolution and taking actions toward service recovery. 

  • Handle oversight of service providers based on operational guidelines and procedures related to responsibilities such as the year-end shareholder tax reporting process, oversight of pricing and fund distributions, cash control, as well as internal and external audit support; Provide appropriate information to the Operations Management team regarding potential servicing issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience.

  • Two years of relationship/vendor management experience.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to establish and positively influence business relationships.

  • Proficient using MS Office products.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Broad understanding of the mutual fund landscape.

  • Familiarity with service provider products and recordkeeping platforms.

Compensation:

The salary for this position generally ranges between $43,575-$57,750 . This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law. The range may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2.

Bonus Eligibility:

This position is also typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at Company Discretion at a rate of 7.5%.
