Position Summary

The Quantitative Research Intern will play a pivotal role in advancing research initiatives focused on decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols. This position entails conducting in-depth analyses to explore innovative solutions for on-chain execution and meeting day-to-day trading requirements.

* This role requires full-time commitment for a minimum of 3 months.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive research on cutting-edge DeFi ecosystems, employing quantitative analysis to discern emerging trends within the industry.
  • Investigate various decentralized protocols to identify strategic opportunities, and subsequently devising and implementing quantitative trading strategies.
  • Develop tools to monitor and analyze the performance of our trading systems, as well as assess the broader market landscape.

 

Job Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a research-based degree in a quantitative or computing field.
  • Solid understanding of statistical and mathematical modeling techniques.
  • Prior experience with or knowledge of blockchain technology and decentralized finance (DeFi) concepts is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research with a keen analytical mindset.
  • Proficiency in Python, Typescript, and/or Rust, with experience and capability in utilizing web3-related libraries.
  • Demonstrated experience using/interacting with various blockchains and L2s is highly advantageous and will be prioritized.
  • Strong passion and willingness to actively engage in various Web3 communities.  
  • Strong quantitative aptitude and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of professionalism in the field.
