Are you interested in the field of finance? Do you enjoy working with data? And would you like the opportunity to work with some of the most skilled experts from the energy industry? Then you might be the student worker we are looking for to join our Risk Control team!
Risk Control at Danske Commodities (DC)
As our new junior risk analyst, you will join our Risk Control team whose primary responsibility is to report on DC’s market risk exposure. This work enables us to safeguard DC against undesirable exposures and partner with the trading teams to create value. In other words, we contribute to enabling active risk management.

You will join a team of motivated and skilled risk analysts. In the team, we always support and challenge each other to make sure we stay on top of the game. Our team is characterised by close collaboration – within the team, with other supporting functions and with the trading business.

Your journey as our new junior risk analyst
Starting out, you will get a thorough introduction to the team, your tasks, your primary stakeholders and how we work with risk management at DC. Your first task will be to get familiar with our risk management framework and your areas of responsibility. You will contribute to various reporting-related tasks and work together with risk analysts with different portfolio areas. On the longer term, you will play a significant role in shaping the team’s processes and tools while supporting the increase of risk measurements. Further, you will take part in improving our work with process automation.
