Junior Accountant

Ter versterking van onze financiële afdeling zijn wij op zoek naar een Junior Accountant. In deze functie krijg je de kans om nauw samen te werken met alle afdelingen in het bedrijf, zowel binnen als buiten Nederland en inzicht te krijgen in de belangrijkste processen. Het is een functie en werkomgeving waarin je leert en ontwikkelt.

Verantwoordelijkheden:
- Crediteurenadministratie en kostenanalyse:
- Verwerking van facturen en inkooporders en verstrekking betalingsopdrachten
- Bank-, crediteuren- en andere maandeinde werkzaamheden voor meerdere entiteiten van de groep, in binnen- en buitenland
- Afstemming en samenwerking met leveranciers, banken en interne belanghebbenden
- Beheer van leveranciersbestand
- Verzorgen van kostenrapportages en -analyses voor het management
- Algemene boekhoudkundige activiteiten samen met de rest van het team
- Contact onderhouden met onze belastingadviseur en het verzorgen van de kwartaalaangifte BTW
- Bankbeheer en relatie met banken
- Assisteren van het rest van het financiële team bij de maand- en jaarafsluiting, inclusief het actief bijdragen aan jaarlijkse interim en financiële audits
Functie-eisen:
- MBO/HBO-niveau
- Aandacht voor detail en het vermogen om (van tijd tot tijd) hard te werken
- Gestructureerde, georganiseerde en gefocuste mentaliteit
- Zelfstartend en zelfstandig kunnen werken
- Flexibel en vastberaden om deadlines te halen
- Goede schriftelijke en mondelinge vaardigheden in het Engels, Nederlands is een sterk pluspunt
- Enige ervaring met het werken met NetSuite zou ideaal zijn, maar dit is geen absolute vereiste

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to strengthen our Finance Department. In this position you will get the opportunity to closely with the rest of business, in and outside the Netherlands and to learn more about the company’s key processes.

Responsibilities:
- Cost analysis and accounts payable (AP):
- Manage invoice approval, purchase order workflow and instruct payments
- Manage vendor information
- Communicate and collaborate with vendors, banks and internal stakeholders.
- Bank, AP and other month-end reconciliation for multiple entities of the group, in and outside the Netherlands
- Preparing cost information and analysis for management
- General accounting activities
- Liaising with our tax advisor and preparing quarterly VAT returns
- Cash management and relationship with banks
- Assisting the rest of the finance team in the monthly close and year end audit, including contributing to the annual interim and financial audits
Requirements:
- MBO/HBO level
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work diligently
- Structured, organised and focussed mindset
- Self-starter and able to work independently
- Flexible attitude with a determination to meet deadlines
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English, Dutch is a strong plus
- Some experience working with NetSuite would be ideal, but this is not a strong requirement
