Market Analyst Intern

Our Algorithmic Trading Team is growing and we are looking for a Market Analyst Intern to join our team. As a Market Analyst Intern you will gain exposure to the dynamic worlds of trading and technology in order to learn what it takes to become a successful and sustainable trader. You will work on a small team that combine the disciplines of technology, research and risk management to identify optimal trading and investment strategies. You will be responsible for supporting the Traders by completing a number a research reports and ad hoc requests that are critical for the team to succeed.
What you’ll be working on:
- Maintaining various custom systems
- Conducting research on macroeconomic, central bank, and Company Earnings
- Monitoring fundamental, geopolitical, and macroeconomic news and its impact across financial markets and how it relates to the team’s trading strategies
- Researching and analyzing trends across major market sectors
You’ll feel right at home if you…
- Are pursuing a bachelor's in economics, finance, or any related science discipline and are a first- or second-year university student
- Have a strong interest in learning about world economies and global markets.
- Have an interest in technology
- Are able to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Have excellent written and communication skills in English
- Enjoy detail-oriented work
- Able to operate within the rules defined by the team
