GENERAL SUMMARY
LOCATION: Tonawanda, NY
Under the provisions of the Labor Agreement and Local Supplementary Agreements including all DTE and GM Safety Rules and Regulations, Operating Engineers will generally be responsible for operating and performing routine maintenance and repair on all equipment within the assigned areas of responsibility with the exception of new installations, mechanical and electrical. Operating Engineers will operate and maintain medium voltage substations, primary switchyard, transformers and related equipment, steam boilers and associated equipment, including chillers, compressors, cooling towers, pumps, waste water treatment process equipment, loading and un-loading tanker trucks, fans and perform all other work related to their trade as may be required on Utility Assets equipment as directed by the Plant Manager (PM) or their designee.
