Working hours: Flexible, full time working hours 
Location: We will support you to work flexibly from home (providing a suite of IT equipment), whilst coming together on site to offer face to face support and collaboration when required

Salary: Circa £64,000, depending on experience plus excellent benefits


Join EDF as a Senior Analyst in Commercial Delivery and you will help us manage and generate value from an existing large-scale route to market contract as well as developing new commercial market access agreements. 


As part of our drive in Wholesale Market Services to grow our portfolio of services to UK asset owners, we’re looking for an enthusiastic, numerate and commercially aware, senior analyst to join our team. 

You will provide a fantastic service to an existing counterparty and help us win new business by supporting the development of new contractual arrangements. 


The opportunity…

As a Senior Analyst, you will help manage contracts as the liaison between counterparties and the Wholesale Market Services teams. You will ensure that we deliver a great service by analysing contract performance, ensuring we meet our contractual obligations, challenging our trading teams and running our settlement processes. 

Your detailed, operational contract knowledge will mean that you will be playing an integral role in supporting the development and negotiation of new agreements as we seek to build our portfolio. 


What we’re looking for…


The successful candidate will have good knowledge of the UK energy sector, experience of working within a commercial analysis role and the ability to interpret contractual arrangements and produce insightful analysis. 


As the Senior Analyst, you will work collaboratively with our trading, risk and settlements teams to deliver an integrated contract service. Strong communication skills are essential to this role, both oral and written to enable you to build excellent internal and external stakeholder relationships, draft commercial arrangements and communicate complex topics.
