The Opportunity
The UK electricity market is changing at pace, as the country moves towards a zero-carbon energy system and relies more and more on flexible and intermittent generation. EDF must continuously improve our approach to Energy Trade Risk Management in order to thrive in this market and support this zero-carbon transition.
We are looking for a talented Analyst to provide expert knowledge on the use of Aligne across our Customers business; designing and implementing solutions to meet evolving business requirements and be a key point of contact within the TRM CoE team.

What you’ll be doing
You will provide modelling and analytical expertise to TRM CoE projects and business developments, producing, presenting and communicating complex analysis to internal and external audiences. You will also support and mentor other analysts across Wholesale Market Services (WMS) to enhance their understanding and use of Aligne.
Working alongside internal and external stakeholders, you will collaboratively enable commercial requirements via mastery of the ETRM system architecture and ensure that you are pro-actively driving the removal of grey IT tools across the ETRM landscape; identifying and delivering automated solutions.
Who you are
As a Senior Analyst, you will have experience with Trading and Risk management systems, ideally FIS Aligne, experience in solution implementation and strong commercial awareness with a customer focus.
We are looking for somebody with experience within a regulated trading role or somebody who has worked closely with trading teams. You will be required to establish and maintain effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders from across EDF, therefore we are looking for somebody with excellent stakeholder management skills, fantastic communication skills and the ability to coach and mentor other team members, providing support to enhance the understanding of Aligne.
