Digital Assets Business Development Analyst

Flow Traders is looking for an experienced Digital Assets Business Development Analyst to join our growing team in APAC. The ideal candidate possesses a strong interest in the cryptocurrency market landscape with a strong network within the industry. In this position, you will be responsible for developing and determining the optimal strategy for Flow Traders to operate within the Cryptocurrency market. This will be done in close cooperation with our global digital assets trading desk to ensure successful implementation of our growth strategy.

What You Will Do

  • Enhance growth in the digital asset (token) market making business, by actively building relationships with digital asset projects
  • Broaden the institutional trading relationships
  • Build a strong network of partner relationships such as venture capital funds, exchanges, digital asset ecosystem players and infrastructure providers
  • Proactively identify new business development opportunities
  • Conduct market research to understand the market structure we operate in and create tangible action items for new business initiatives and business plans
  • Identify potential opportunities and partnerships to enhance current trading operations or start new ventures
  • Stay up-to-date and engage with key launches, digital asset ecosystem news, current market developments, latest industry trends and regulations
  • Represent Flow Traders at Conferences and other industry events

What You Need to Succeed

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience within the digital asset industry
  • Extensive digital asset product knowledge
  • Strong network of venture capital funds, digital asset projects, exchanges, hedge funds and other digital asset ecosystem players
  • Thorough understanding of trading business operations, processes, and systems landscape
  • Working knowledge of the competitive landscape and key market participants
  • Team player who is solution oriented
  • Ability to interact well with various personality types and cultivate buy-in from multiple departments
  • Ability to manage several ongoing projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines
  • Effective organizational, planning and time management skills with a high attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability and desire to identify challenges and suggest improvements in a fast paced and collaborative environment
  • Possess a strong sense of ownership and takes pride in work and contributions to company's success
