Quantitative Trader, Wholesale Market Making Team
Overview
The Wholesale Market Making Team (WMM) is seeking Quantitative Trader in Equities join the team. The successful candidates will work on projects across the quantitative trading space in the US equities and foreign markets. They will work closely with other senior traders on strategies. They will see their work directly impact the group’s activities and drive revenue.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be a high achiever with a strong quantitative background. They should be very comfortable working in Python. They will have a lot of initiative, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and thrive in a competitive environment. Candidate will have experience managing and automating equities portfolio in US equities and/or foreign markets.
Qualifications
- 3+ Years of experience
- B.S./M.S. from a leading university in a quantitative discipline such as math, physics, statistics, computer science, engineering, or economics with a GPA over 3.6/4.0.
- Both graduates and candidates with experience may apply.
- Deep understanding and ability in mathematics and statistics.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Excellent communication skills: the ability to express complex concepts in simple terms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated interest in strategic and competitive games.

In accordance with New York City's Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range for this role is $135,000 to $285,000. Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits.
