We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Ops Specialist to join our dynamic Human Resources team. The HR Ops Specialist will play a crucial role in managing and executing various HR operational activities, ensuring smooth HR processes, and supporting the overall HR function. The ideal candidate should possess excellent problem-solving skills, a solid understanding of HR processes, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

HR Systems and Data Management:

  • Assist with the maintenance and integrity of HR systems and databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, employment history, benefits, and performance data.
  • Collaborate with the HRIS team to identify system enhancements, resolve technical issues, and optimize HR processes through automation.

Benefits & Leave Administration:

  • Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth benefits enrollment, changes, and communications.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for employees, providing guidance and counseling regarding various types of leaves of absence, including medical, family, and disability leaves.
  • Review and process leave requests from employees and relevant stakeholders to manage the leave process effectively and ensure Workday is updated accordingly for tracking.

Employee Lifecycle Management:

  • Coordinate and administer various HR processes related to the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, transfers, promotions, and employee status changes.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, company policies, and HR best practices throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Facilitate the documentation and distribution of HR-related materials, such as employment contracts, offer letters, and HR policies.

HR Operations Support:

  • Serve as a point of contact for HR-related inquiries and provide timely assistance to employees, managers, and external stakeholders.
  • Support HR programs and initiatives, such as performance management, and employee engagement surveys.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and procedures, identifying areas for streamlining and efficiency gains.

Compliance and Policy Adherence:

  • Stay up-to-date with local labor laws and regulations, ensuring HR practices and policies are compliant.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to review, develop, and update HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with legal requirements and best practices.
  • Conduct periodic audits and assessments to ensure adherence to policies and guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR Operations or a similar HR support role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, policies, and best practices.
  • Workday HRIS experience required
  • Familiarity with HR systems and tools; experience with HRIS implementation is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are preferred.
