WHAT YOU’LL DO
Our Finance team is fast evolving and as the department for the European operating company (including Brazil and India), we work closely with stakeholders across all departments, levels and geographies. We are looking for a Financial Controller who will be part of a small team and reporting into the Head of Finance. Since IMC is growing rapidly, the challenges for you are to be hands-on, while keeping oversight of the strategic processes and ambition of the organization. Moreover, we want you to bring your experience with setting up and implementing efficient finance, business and regulatory reporting processes towards IMC and add your footprint to a more mature organization.
Next to this, you must have broad experience across all finance disciplines, but not be afraid to dive into the technical details when needed. You must possess excellent stakeholder management skills, as you will be collaborating with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders such as traders, procurement, mid office as well as the auditors and regulatory bodies.

TASKS
Safeguard and prepare financial reporting for the multiple entities, including management- and annual reporting;
Manage and autonomous reporting financial and business reports for the monthly, quarterly and yearly closing;
Assist, develop and manage budgeting and financial forecasting;
Collaborate and execute day-to-day accounting activities; knowledge of GAAP/IFRS principles;
Assist and cooperate for process improvements and automation; ensuring the correctness of data, timely efficient reporting and compliance;
Establish and develop relations with diversity of stakeholders on several levels.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
An academic master’s degree in Finance, Economics or related field of studies;
5 - 7 years of relevant work experience;
Knowledge of financial processes and reporting in multiple entities; experience and/or affinity with trading would be considered a plus;
Proven (quantitative) analytical and problem-solving skills;
Ability to transform data into result orientated solutions, guidelines and reporting;
Ability to act and perform successfully in a fast-moving and high-pressured environment;
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
