WHAT YOU’LL DO
IMC is currently looking for an energetic and team-oriented Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Business Planning & Analytics (BP&A) Team. The BP&A Team is responsible for data analytics and insight visualization across all teams at IMC including Trading, Finance, Middle Office and HR. You will collaborate closely with these teams to understand their day-to-day business and provide them with meaningful insights through data analysis and visualization.
As a BP&A team member, you’ll be responsible for:
Collecting, transforming and analyzing a large volume and variety of data to extract valuable information, making it readily available in the decision-making process
Visualizing interesting facts from the large data asset and presenting them to key business stakeholders
Upgrading and optimizing on-production ETLs and Dashboards that have provided various operational insights for the organization
Acting as a true partner to all areas of the business - working across all departments to identify and collect requirements to support analysis and reporting needs
Creating cohesive global teams and in addition to the local team in Amsterdam, you will collaborate with teams in Chicago and Sydney.
WHO YOU ARE
University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics or other quantitative backgrounds
4+ years of work experience in the field of data analytics, experience in consultancy or a similar client-facing position will be a plus
Experienced in data analytics libraries in Python. Preferably worked with object-oriented programming
Experienced in developing and optimizing enterprise-level ETL pipelines
Skilled in data visualization, e.g. open-source data visualization projects and/or main-stream third-party BI software
Able to work with relational and nonrelational databases. Experience in OpenSearch(ElasticSearch) will be a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong business acumen.
