WHAT YOU’LL DO AS A FINANCE ANALYST
As a Finance Analyst at IMC India you play a pivotal role in finding solutions for a wide variety of finance related topics. You and your team collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, external parties and your peers from other IMC offices to continuously deliver top level results. In addition, you will support in:
Processing of Invoices in the internal financial system for Opex as well as Capex
Accounting of expenses and assets under appropriate heads of accounting
Initiating payments to vendors after ensuring all the requisite documentation is in place and Assistance in coordinating with banks for outward remittances.
Preparation of financial statements, ensuring harmonization and compliance with IND AS. Assistance in Performing month-end close activities including revenue & expense accruals;
Assistance in computation and payment of TDS, GST and Income-Tax as well as filing of the returns with the tax authorities
Assistance in Ppreparation of financial statements, ensuring harmonization and compliance with IND AS.
Review and analysis of income statement and balance sheet accounts and provide commentary for variance;
Maintain fixed assets register including additions, retirements, and annual physical verification;
Review and prepares monthly reconciliations of Balance Sheet accounts and substantiation of the balance;
Assistance in providing information and documents to auditors as well as internal stakeholders Supporting and coordinating statutory audit and internal audit by providing backups and schedules on timely basis.
Ensure all accounting treatment done rightly. Put effective controls and review process with appropriate documentation to complete all financial statements timely and appropriately.
Ensure Related Party transactions are reconciled every month and keep master of all Related Party transactions.
Ensure monthly petty cash/corporate credit card/bank reconciliation is done.
WHO YOU ARE
Inter-CA with up to 3 years of work experience OR M. Com/Semi-Qualified CA with 3 to around 5 years of work experience in a stock broking firm or financial services/investment bank/ capital markets firm.
Working knowledge of accounting practices and ERP. Workday is a plus.
Strong Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to consistently be attentive to detail while meeting critical deadlines and handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong interpersonal skills, positive attitude & willingness to continuously learn;
Thorough knowledge of internal controls and ability to work with large volumes of data.
