Senior / Research Associate Analyst – Financials
We are looking for a passionate individual with a strong desire in equity research to join Macquarie’s team in Mumbai, working with some of the industry’s best analysts in an entrepreneurial and collaborative culture.
You will be working as a Research Associate in the Financials sector in the Equity Research team helping further develop our client base within a growing market. In this role, you will focus on updating and maintaining financial models/ industry databases, interacting with channel partners to better understand on-ground situation, writing quarterly reports covering quarterly results (preview & review), sector updates and thematic reports. You are also responsible for generating new ideas, initiating coverage on new companies, as well as engaging with senior managements of the companies covered.
As the successful incumbent, you will have minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in equity research gained ideally within investment banking / securities brokerage. Experience covering India Banks / Banking sector is crucial and will be highly advantageous. You will possess strong analytical mindset with excellent academic backgrounds and a significant interest in equities market. Your exceptional communication skills will support you in building good relationships with large corporate clients and our sales team. Programming skills, knowledge of quantitative aptitude and financial concepts like ratio analysis, valuation techniques and financial modelling would be plus.
