Macquarie is seeking a Director of Clearing Sales to join the Futures Division within our Commodities and Global Markets Group. The role will report to the Americas Head of Clearing Sales in New York and will be primarily focused focusing on selling FCM clearing services to Asset Managers, Hedge Funds, Banks, Broker-Dealers and Insurance Companies.
Leveraging our current footprint, the role will be responsible for business origination of new relationships (covering both domestic and international clients) as well as client relationship management. This is an excellent opportunity to join the Futures team who have operated in global futures markets for more than 30 years, providing a full range of execution, clearing and financing solutions to corporate and institutional clients as well as providing continuous 24-hour coverage of all major markets globally.
The role includes the following primary responsibilities:
To be considered for the role, you’ll have 10-15 years of institutional experience (at a minimum) working at an investment bank, stand-alone FCM or equivalent. Proficiency in long-tenured relationships alongside the tools necessary to maintain those relationships sit at the core of this position in order to be successful.
Salary range for this position: $157,500 - $440,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. You may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.
