Senior Business Analyst - Risk Management

This is a great opportunity for you to join our Risk Enterprise Support (RES) Projects & Change team within the Risk Management Group. RES is responsible for governance of the Risk Management Group-wide project portfolio and delivery of key risk projects.

About the role

As a Business Analyst within the Risk Management Group, you will work with colleagues across Risk, Operating Business Units and Technology teams to deliver strategic solutions to support the Data Risk Management project.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Leading and gathering requirements, coordination and facilitation of workshops, solution design, testing strategies and change management artefacts
  • Working collaboratively across business, technology and data specialists to ensure solutions and products are delivered to design and efficient in operation
  • Working with the project team to track, assess and communicate changes to requirements maintaining traceability back to owners and subject matter experts
  • Presenting analysis findings and outcomes to senior business stakeholders

About you

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have previous experience in Operational Risk, Risk Governance and/or Non-Financial Risk domains within a financial institution. 
  • Have strong stakeholder engagement skills with the aptitude to build effective relationships and with the ability to work efficiently and autonomously in a geographically dispersed team
  • Be skilled at listening, interpreting, documenting and clearly conveying information across a range of business, technical and operational stakeholders
  • Have a learning mindset and ability to quickly pick up new concepts and adapt approach
  • Interpersonal skills to establish strong working relationships and trust
  • Creativity in your approach to identify and solve problems using human-centred design techniques
