We have an outstanding Senior Manager/Manager opportunity in our Technology, Data and Regulatory Reporting Risk team. The new role is in the Line 2 Operational Risk function and is accountable for forming an independent view of Macquarie’s operational risk profile and effect change in operational risk management and culture across the Macquarie Group.
The role provides you the opportunity to have a key role supporting activities across a range of high-impact enterprise initiatives to support and improve operational risk management.

This role provides you a unique opportunity to shape and influence enterprise-wide risk management practices. You will gain exposure to all business and support groups in Macquarie, building, and maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders and deepening your knowledge of business and operational processes across the enterprise.
We are seeking a motivated inquisitive individual who likes to ask the why question and understand problems in order to drive effective sustainable solutions. Stakeholder management is key in the role as you will be working closely with the operating groups and support functions globally as well as colleagues within the wider Risk Management Group.
Ideally you have career experience in developing and implementing risk management frameworks, processes, and operations for risk types associated with the role. Proven experience in operational risk and control management or assurance within financial services is highly desirable.

The Risk Management Group (RMG) is an independent, centralised unit responsible for ensuring all risk across Macquarie are appropriately assessed and managed. Its divisions include Behavioural Risk, Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Regulatory Affairs and Aggregate Risk, and RMG Enterprise Support.
