Commodities and Global Markets | Senior Data Business Analyst

An excellent opportunity for you to join our Commodities and Global Markets group as a Senior Business Analyst, to join a fast-paced, dynamic and energetic team that develop and maintain critical data solutions for the Specialised Asset and Finance business.
You will work closely with a global business stakeholder group, system Product Owners and Scrum teams to support the delivery in our aligned solutions development teams. Your structured approach and analytical thinking will be crucial in managing the development of features to support our diverse global Asset Finance business.
You will be working on the implementation of a new strategic data & reporting platform and maintaining the existing reporting solutions.
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will:
- Interact with SMEs to analyse, model, organise and reconcile data
- Work collaboratively as part of the scrum team, to identify and deliver data solutions
- Work in a fast-paced environment, with opportunity to work on multiple initiatives concurrently and understand the business priorities.
- Interact closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and expected outcomes
- Define and document business requirements and processes
- Translate business requirements into user stories and detailed functional specifications
- Support the Product Owner in prioritisation, shaping the roadmap and developing junior members of the team
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a data business analyst role, preferably in an asset finance or banking organisation
- Strong data modelling and reporting skills
- Experience using SQL
- An enquiring mind, and the ability to challenge the status quo
- Strong communicator who can translate concepts and solutions to stakeholders at all levels effectively
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to translate needs to business outcomes
