Senior Business Analyst | Macquarie Asset Management

Macquarie Asset Management has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join the Document and Identity Governance (DIG) team in Sydney.

In this role, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary scrum team working on the MAM-wide document management replacement and uplift program of work.  You will work with stakeholders across the entire business and gain a deep understanding of records governance, the Macquarie-wide LCM program and advanced Microsoft 365 technologies.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will:

  • Work in a fast-paced environment, be comfortable with changing priorities and manage multiple pieces of work concurrently
  • Interact closely with senior business stakeholders to understand requirements and expected outcomes
  • Work with business SMEs to analyse, organise and reconcile data
  • Work collaboratively with COG Technology teams to deliver a best-in-class document management solution
  • Work closely with the Lifecycle Records Management team to ensure MAM meets its regulatory commitments regarding retention and disposal
  • Define and document business requirements and processes
  • Work collaboratively as part of the scrum team, to identify and deliver solutions and platforms to meet the requirements

Key traits of the ideal candidate include:

  • A deep understanding of document management in a financial services setting, including records retention & disposal
  • Excellent data analysis skills, with the ability to traverse multiple technologies to understand & classify complex data sets
  • Intermediate/Advanced experience with Microsoft 365, Sharepoint and records management technologies
  • Experience in a Financial Services or Consulting setting, delivering digital capabilities or other related change.
  • Inquisitive mindset, strategic thinker, analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
  • Adept at engaging, collaborating, and influencing people at all levels and areas
  • Ability to independently drive outcomes whilst working in a collaborative team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with document management tools (e.g., iManage) an advantage
  • Agile experience highly considered
