Senior Manager, Prudential Risk Frameworks (12 Month Contract)

Do you have a passion for people, planning and problem solving?  The Regulatory Affairs & Aggregate Risk Division within Macquarie’s Risk Management Group is currently looking for a Senior Manager to join their team to lead the Prudential Risk Framework activities.

This is an exciting opportunity to take your previous risk framework and/or business management experience to lead a small team and work with colleagues across the 3 lines of defence on the following primary activities:

In this role you will:

  • Take ownership of the upkeep and continuous improvement of the Prudential Risk Framework
  • Drive the governance of Macquarie’s compliance with prudential obligations
  • Act as senior representation in an organisation-wide program to systematise regulatory obligation management
  • Plan and manage the annual CPS 220 Board Risk Management Declaration activities and senior coordination of annual APS 310 prudential compliance external audit
  • Identify and oversee strategic business initiatives from development to embedment
  • Improve current processes and coordinate organisation procedures to optimise efficiency
  • Understanding how the Prudential Risk Framework fits within the broader Risk Management Framework, and maintain a strong connection
  • Manage and facilitate change with senior stakeholders

You will have with experience in building or managing risk frameworks and/or in process improvement activities.

You will bring strong collaboration skills which you’ll put to good use as you work with your colleagues across the 3 lines of defence.  You will be a strong communicator, both written and verbal and be able to deliver key messages succinctly and effectively.
