We are seeking to hire a Freight trader to join our Freight team in Geneva within our Commodity Markets and Finance. In this position you will be part of the team that specialises in managing the world-wide commodities’ transport on ships across the globe in a safe, efficient and cost effective way.

Role Outline:
You will perform market analysis formulating strategies within the desk identifying and executing trade ideas. Your role will consist of price and execute freight derivatives as well as physical freight requirements for Macquarie and its Client’s platform as well as providing on-going freight pricing and execution support to the oil trading team. You will also identify and manage freight exposures within the physical and the derivative freight markets.
