Senior Listed Derivatives Execution - Futures, Commodities and Global Markets - Montreal
The Futures team at Macquarie is looking for a Listed Derivatives Execution Specialist to join our platform in Montreal. Leveraging our current footprint in the global-macro and commodities space, you will be responsible for business origination of new relationships (entailing both domestic and international clientele) as well as client relationship management. Client relationships will be cultivated under the strong traditions, work environment and value-add service that Macquarie Futures provides on the Futures platform.
On a day-to-day basis, your primary responsibilities will include execution of listed derivatives, electronic execution sales, and clearing sales. Additional responsibilities could also include client relationship management, market commentary (both technical and fundamental), trade execution with support from a broader team and business development/origination for the overall platform.
Familiarity within the global-macro and commodities space is paramount alongside the operational components necessary to handle large institutional clients. A sound understanding to the ancillary components of the Futures business is also well-received including margin loan facilities, OTC derivatives and structured finance. Cross collaboration is key to your development.
To be considered for the role, you must have a university degree and a Canadian Futures License. Institutional experience working at an investment bank, stand-alone FCM or equivalent is also required. Proficiency in long-tenured trading relationships alongside the tools necessary to maintain those relationships sit at the core of this position to be successful.
