As an intern in Macquarie Asset Management, you will be part of a global, full-service asset manager, providing investment solutions to clients across a range of capabilities, including infrastructure, renewables, real estate, agriculture, transportation finance, equities, fixed income, private credit, and multi-asset solutions.
The program
Our ten-week internship program will provide you with hands-on experience working in investment management for a global financial company.
The program kicks off with an orientation providing you with the opportunity to learn about the Macquarie business groups, meet fellow interns and expand your network.
On the desk, you’ll be given meaningful and challenging work allowing you to gain practical experience to tie into your theoretical knowledge from school. You will receive support from your manager and aligned mentor. And additionally, participate in philanthropic and social events to connect you to our inclusive culture. You will learn about our investment strategies across equities and fixed income through weekly learning series and exposure to senior leaders.
Your role
As an intern with our Fixed Income team, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills and build your career as you support a team investing to deliver positive impact for everyone
You will be valuing and running performance analysis of fund assets through financial modeling and scenario analysis. You will prepare marketing and investor relations materials for internal and external use. You will also conduct financial and corporate analysis of new transactions including cash-flow modeling, asset valuations and industry research.
About you

You are a critical thinker with strong numerical skills who can articular their thoughts and ideas clearly. You like to collaborate with others and are comfortable building strong working relationships.
With a strong interest in financial services, you bring a proactive, resourceful, and positive attitude as well as a powerful work ethic. You have a strong attention to detail with experience and comfort in Excel.
