Internal Audit Senior Manager | Central Support Functions

What role will you play?

As an Internal Audit Senior Manager, you will lead and assess the effectiveness of Macquarie’s internal control framework, risk management and governance systems arising from the audits you are involved in. You will work across the Financial Management Group and Risk Management Group, which provide a range of functions to support Macquarie’s operating groups meet their regulatory, compliance, financial reporting, legal and risk management requirements and contribute to the continual improvement of the overarching risk management framework

What you offer

  • Prior experience in a comparable audit or risk management role, ideally in Banking and Financial Services
  • Experience in financial and non-financial risk, covering areas such as operational risk, compliance, market risk and credit risk
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels

About the Risk Management Group

In our Risk Management Group, you will be part of an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. Our divisions include behavioural risk, compliance, credit, financial crime risk, internal audit, market risk, operational risk and governance, prudential risk, and Risk Management Group central.
