Senior Analyst Prudential Frameworks

This is an exciting opportunity to a join a maturing team to support the effective maintenance and uplift of the Prudential Risk Framework.

As a Senior Analyst in the Prudential Frameworks team, you will work with stakeholders across Macquarie’s businesses and support groups to help Macquarie embed the various elements of the Prudential Risk Framework and support its continued evolution.

You will be a key driver of prudential framework and policy initiatives and a key facilitator in connecting our Line 2 Risk Management function with Line 1 partners as part of annual governance activities, as well as day-to-day governance activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Governance and maintenance of the APRA prudential standard obligations documentation, and supporting processes, including mapping of obligations to controls and advising Line 1 and Line 2 on embedding the prudential risk framework
  • Active participation in an organisation-wide program to systematise regulatory obligations with a technology solution
  • Facilitation of important annual obligation attestation and compliance assessment activities
  • Data analysis and management reporting for the annual CPS 220 Board Risk Management Declaration activities
  • Supporting the annual APS 310 audit as key connection point between the external auditor and internal stakeholders
  • Working with divisions across RMG on strategic risk management initiatives

Previous experience in managing regulatory obligations in either a Line 1 or Line 2 role is essential, or experience working in Big 4 Financial Services/Risk Consulting.  To be successful in this role, you will have 2-5 years of relevant experience, a problem-solving mindset, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a proven ability to work with stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
