Associate - Trade Confirmation and Settlements
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Investment Management Operations team, where you will be given the opportunity to work in funds management or custodian background while growing your career in a supportive environment.
Macquarie Asset Management Global Services provides support to the Investment Management and Specialised Investment Solutions divisions of Macquarie Asset Management. As part of the Global Platform Strategy, we will be building out the existing capability in the Macquarie Gurugram office across the fund administration, portfolio administration and investment middle office global function.
As part of a high-performing and inclusive team, you will be responsible for investment confirmation and settlement monitoring, and instructing settlement details to custodians and clients, and unmatched or failed trade monitoring and resolution. You will also work with trade entry bookings, reconciliation review and clearing of breaking items. You will be involved in implementing process improvement to increase the efficiency and accuracy of the team, and work for regulatory reporting responsibilities and reconciliation for collateral management for OTC products.
To be successful in this role you’ll have tertiary qualifications in a relevant business discipline. With post-qualification experience of 2 to 3.5 years with a financial institution, preferably working within a trade support team for a global asset manager. Knowledge of the financial services industry and shared services operating model will be highly regarded.
Great product knowledge in equities, futures, FX, fixed income and OTC; and knowledge in security confirmation and settlement processes (in equity and fixed income securities) is also highly regarded. Knowledge in clearing and regulatory requirements for OTC products, and domestic and international settlement markets is also advantageous. You will have a willingness and flexibility to work across global time zones.

- DTCC Global Trade Repository
- GTSS, Eagle Pace
- Reconciliation platforms e.g. TLM
