Senior Analyst - Control Room

In this varied and challenging role, no two days will be the same.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual to join an established Compliance Control Room function which manages the firm’s information barriers and associated processes including the management of inside information, substantial shareholding disclosures and the provision of advisory and compliance oversight to Macquarie’s institutional Research division.

In this exciting role you will have frequent interaction with business stakeholders across the Macquarie Group, as well as working collaboratively with colleagues in Compliance and other risk functions. You will be involved in a range of tasks including, but not limited to, compliance monitoring, review and approval of institutional research, policy review, regulatory and legal change management in Australia & New Zealand, as well as taking an active role in global control room projects and initiatives.

You will hold a degree and have an understanding of investment banking and global market products. Prior compliance experience is beneficial, but a genuine interest in regulatory and legal matters that drive the management of conflicts within an institutional banking environment will set you up for success in this role.

Strong analytical capability, an attention to detail and a “can do” attitude, especially under pressure, are also crucial skills for this role.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a strong sense of teamwork, and the ability to multi-task, to gain exposure to a wide variety of compliance matters in a dynamic environment.
