Technology Risk Associate Director

Reporting to the Head of Technology Risk for Commodities and Global Markets, you will join a team of experienced technology risk professionals to drive a strong risk culture.

What role will you play?

You will drive best practise ensuring a strong, proactive risk culture and educate staff and stakeholders to have a clear understanding of the Line 1 operational risk Framework. You will partner with our technology team to ensure that operational risk is managed effectively in line with Macquarie’s Operational Risk Management Frameworks and associated policies and provide risk input to material changes. 

Using your technology risk expertise, you will conduct risk assessments over new technology proposed as part of a new product launch, execute control assurance reviews, and ensure issue and action closure validation.

What you offer

  • A motivated risk professional with 10+ years’ experience and expertise within a technology operational risk leadership role gained within financial services environment
  • Have a strong understanding of risk framework or operational experience across technology supporting trading business, payment, settlement, confirmation and back office functions
  • Strong stakeholder management skills at all levels.
