Business Analyst or Executive, Client Solutions Group – Seoul

Macquarie Asset Management (MAM) is seeking a talented and dynamic individual to join its Client Solutions Group (CSG) covering Korea, based in Seoul.

Our global Client Solutions Group (CSG) comprises of professionals dedicated to delivering new business initiatives, product development, fund formation, capital raising and client relations across the Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific.

Working in a fast paced and challenging environment, you will contribute to the execution of plans that support the business objectives of Macquarie Asset Management across its four operating pillars: Real Assets, Real Estate, Private Credit and Public Investments.

In this role, you will be contributing to all aspects of fund raising by supporting senior professionals with their ongoing interaction and communication with clients regarding our Public Investments strategy. Key parts of the role are:

  • Understanding MAM Public Investments’ various investment strategies (Equity, Fixed Income, and Multi-Asset) and help team raise capital successfully from the Korean investors
  • Communicating with clients daily to receive and respond to various incoming queries on both existing as well as prospective accounts
  • Attending client meetings and drafting meeting notes to ensure prompt follow-ups
  • Coordinating execution processes in fund raising, including investor DD questionnaires, RFP’s and fund documentation
  • Preparing timely and tailored responses to client requests and creating investor relations material for internal and external use in collaboration with relevant teams
  • Contributing to the execution of a proactive investor relationship management which includes activities that ensure that clients receive high quality service through ad-hoc reporting and regular fund performance updates 
  • Overseeing the management and tracking of communications with existing and prospective investors, as well as maintaining and updating the CRM system

If you have a natural interest in public investments (equity, fixed income, and multi-asset), then this could be the opportunity for you.

You will have up to 4 years of work experience and having previous experience covering one or more of private markets, public investments, or funds management would be advantageous. Fluency in English and Korean is essential, including translating capabilities.  You will be a good communicator, who is highly motivated and proactive. You will possess the ability to prioritise and multi-task, within a diverse and fast-paced role, whilst striving for continuous improvement. A detail orientated mindset and the highest levels of personal and professional integrity are essential.
