Business Analyst, Operational Risk

Play a part in delivering exception experiences. You will be part of the Non-Financial Risk platforms team responsible for the management and delivery of system enhancements that enable the management of non-financial risk in the organization.

What role will you play?

You will lead the delivery for your assigned stream working on a range of projects and initiatives involving business stakeholders and technology teams to create pragmatic solutions. In addition, you will provide user support and training.

What you offer

  • 3-5 years experience as a functional business analyst on projects
  • experience in developing detailed requirements and documentation including user stories, process maps and data flows and test scripts
  • Experience analysing large volumes of data and supporting data remediation activities
  • Proficient in the use of JIRA and Confluence
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools. Specific to Excel, includes understanding of using formulas and pivot tables
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously as well as good communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.

About the Risk Management Group

In our Risk Management Group, you will be part of an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. Our divisions include behavioural risk, compliance, credit, financial crime risk, internal audit, market risk, operational risk and governance, prudential risk, and Risk Management Group central.
