What role will you play?

As an Associate Director, you will provide regional oversight and guidance on platform changes, advise asset teams on transaction and asset management activities and support the approval of NPAs. You will oversee the risk management framework, tasks and projects including regular and appropriate risk assessment and regional control assurance to ensure critical controls are designed and operating effectively. You will provide advice to the ANZ and APAC Asset Management teams on implementation of risk frameworks and policy advice and play a key role in incident and issue management, including investigation of root cause, monitoring operational risk incidents and ensuring appropriate follow up actions are implemented.

What you offer

  • Extensive experience in Operational Risk Management, preferably in an Asset Management environment
  • Demonstrable Risk Assurance experience
  • Stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build deep and effective relationships
  • Ability to effectively manage competing priorities
  • Attention to detail and strong communication skills
  • Experience with Private Markets will be highly regarded.

In our Risk Management Group, you will be part of an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. Our divisions include behavioural risk, compliance, credit, financial crime risk, internal audit, market risk, operational risk and governance, prudential risk, and Risk Management Group central.
