Tax – Manager/Senior Manager

Macquarie Asset Management - Private Markets (Real Assets, Real Estate and Private Credit) is seeking an experienced transactional tax specialist to join our London-based team.

In this EMEA focused role you will be part of Macquarie Asset Management’s  global Private Markets Tax and Structuring team, working a front office role across a broad spectrum of fund, transactional and asset management related activities.

To be successful in this role you will need an ability to work closely and collaboratively with transaction (deal) teams, senior Macquarie Asset Management team members and other stakeholders. You will also work closely with external advisers to ensure the appropriateness of advice for any given process/transaction. 

You will bring your proven experience in a transactional tax environment, ideally with a focus on infrastructure and/or real estate activities, coupled with strong analytical and technical tax skills. You will possess the capability to manage the tax risk for the Macquarie Asset Management business and the assets into which it invests. In addition, you will have the ability to demonstrate flexibility and an ability to process large amounts of information quickly.
