Join our highly-rated Equity Research team in Hong Kong and help further expand our market reach across Asia. You will be supporting a senior analyst covering the Internet space in an entrepreneurial and collaborative culture.

What role will you play?

As a member of a high-performing team, you will focus on updating and maintaining financial models / industry databases, managing market analysis and client presentations and briefings. You will also be writing, previewing and reviewing quarterly results, sector updates and thematic reports, and have the opportunity to generate new ideas, participate in coverage initiation on new companies, engage with senior stakeholders of the companies covered and help build our client base and revenue over time.

What you offer

  • A tertiary qualification in a quantitative, economics, finance or similar discipline
  • Minimum 1 year of prior experience in equity research (relevant sector coverage preferred), macro strategy research and/or corporate strategy development
  • Experience or knowledge in gaming, digital platforms and/or global TMT sector would be highly advantageous
  • Strong numerical and modelling skills and well-versed in financial concepts like ratio analysis, valuation techniques and financial modelling
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to building good relationships with large corporate clients and internal teams. Fluency in English and Mandarin is required due to the sector and client coverage of the role
  • Self-motivated, logical and analytical lateral thinker with passion in equity research, strong drive to succeed and willingness to learn.
