Equity Derivatives Trading Analyst
A great opportunity to join a leading warrant issuer in Asia. Macquarie’s Equity Derivatives & Trading Division is looking for high-performing and entrepreneurial candidates with relevant skill set and qualities to join our team based in Hong Kong or Sydney.
As an Equity Derivatives Trading Analyst within the Commodities and Global Markets Group, you will be working in the Volatility team to maximise risk-adjusted profits. You will be primarily responsible for directly assisting Equity Derivative traders in Asia Pac with the support and development of proprietary trading and risk management tools, with core objectives to support and further enhance product pricing & issuance, market-making automation and risk management and hedging strategies. You will also work closely with the developer and quant strategy teams to contribute to the enhancement of trading technology.
Key Qualities & Experience
- Strong work ethic with high levels of self-motivation
- Forward thinker with an aptitude to derivative risk and data analytics
- Strong coding skills (Python, C# or similar)
- Someone who enjoys working in a team and welcomes responsibility and ownership.
- Past experience as a quant/data analyst is a plus
- Good communication skills
