Senior Associate, Projects, Risk and Change
We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Analyst to join the Regulatory and Enterprise Change team within Banking and Financial Services’ (BFS) broader Regulatory Risk Team. This is a key role in facilitating and driving projects for change initiatives within the regulatory risk management function.
The Regulatory and Enterprise Change team is a first line regulatory risk management function which has responsibility for regulatory, industry and enterprise change monitoring and implementation oversight governance for the BFS business. The team is responsible for horizon scanning and regulatory thematic awareness with board, senior management and internal compliance forum reporting, and working with internal risk stakeholders to provide visibility across the enterprise and regulatory change portfolios.
In this exciting role you will work with stakeholders across BFS and Macquarie Group to assist in the design and implementation of risk and compliance initiatives and projects for BFS. You will design and perform project management, analysis, and stakeholder engagement activities on a needs basis as appropriate to the requirements of each change initiative. This will include providing regulatory change program support and assisting with enterprise-wide non-financial risk transformation, supporting effective risk management across BFS.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have experience working on change projects and developing relationships with a broad group of stakeholders in an ever-evolving environment.
- Have experience in project management/governance preferably in the financial services industry.
- Be a dynamic thinker, confident in your ability to navigate delivering outcomes without a process to follow.
- Be familiar with Agile ways of working (preferred).
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders (both written and verbal) and coordinate a high volume of tasks concurrently.
- Be organised and methodical, with experience planning and tracking tasks for initiatives, managing project schedules, and identifying risks and appropriate mitigants.
- Have experience building data-driven presentations and reporting that highlights measurement of outcomes and provides insight to senior stakeholders.
- Have a natural attention to detail and exercise proactive diligence in ensuring accurate and quality information is gathered and maintained to add value to business stakeholders.
