Operational Risk Senior Manager |Technology

What role will you play?

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring Operational Risk is addressed and managed effectively in line with Macquarie’s Operational Risk Management Framework. You will provide risk advice and manage the risk profile by working with stakeholders to address issues and working with the Aligned Technology Leadership team to prioritise risk initiatives and identify areas for improvement.

You will also perform risk assessments and reviews for existing services, facilitate risk and control self-assessments, report technology incidents, challenge root cause analysis and ensure sustainable remediation and manager risk through technology change. Additionally, you will support the assurance team for applications/services in your portfolio, alongside providing advice for issues identified via internal and external audits.

 

What you offer

  • You will be a highly motivated Technology Risk SME with 8+ years’ of experience
  • Excellent senior stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence, constructively challenge the status quo and provide pragmatic risk advice
  • Ability to initiate and lead conversations with business leaders relating to anticipated or emerging risks and issues
  • A Technologist with sound risk management knowledge and skills will also be suitable for this role
