Macquarie Cash Equities Trade Support Lead

This is a terrific opportunity to sit alongside our US cash equities business. As a middle office US equities market subject matter expert, you will be involved with supporting our High Touch, Algo, Program, Transition Management, ADR Conversion, and ETF Create/Redeem trading desks. You will support the confirmation, settlement, reconciliation, regulatory reporting, static, and commission capture of all equities transactions on behalf of Macquarie. This role supports a time and risk sensitive business in which processing accuracy, and timely escalation are key. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders within the division, the trading desk, Financial and Risk management groups, internal operational groups, internal and external audit, corresponding banks, and custodians to ensure smooth settlement and good client relationships as well as implement project plans and initiatives to grow the business and streamline our operational flow.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Primary point of contact for the trading desk for all US equity operational inquiries
  • Coordinating between trading desks and supporting areas to help deliver business and operational project initiatives
  • Trade allocations
  • Follow up on failing and unmatched transactions
  • Position, Transaction, and Cash Reconciliations
  • Institutional Client Service
  • Work with Internal and External audit to ensure all procedures and documentation are up to date
  • Monthly KRI and KPI reporting to management

Qualifications/Skills Required:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • >5 years experience within equities middle office
  • Have a knowledge of all businesses supported (US/International Equities) including Equities, ADR Conversions, and ETF Create/Redemption
  • Be able to train others and effectively communicate complex processes
  • Capable of assisting with projects the team is working on
  • Focus on continuous process improvement
  • Have effective communication skills and ability to manage in a high-pressure environment
  • Display capability and confidence in own judgment to make decisions independently
  • Experience using Fidessa, Syn, TLM, BPS, PostEdge, GFW a plus

Salary range for this position: $90,000 - $145,000/Yr.  Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. The successful candidate may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.
