What role will you play?

As an Operational Risk Manager/Senior Manager you will deliver an ongoing program, in partnership with business stakeholders, to reshape our approach to the ongoing management of risks and controls. You will be responsible for understanding banking products across end-to-end value chains, evaluating risks and control environment effectiveness, diagnosing the suitability of our control environment and identifying weaknesses or potential uplifts.

You will be pivotal in improving stakeholder visibility, awareness and understanding of the risk and control environment in place to support their business. You will be a role-model for a proactive risk management culture and make substantial contributions to broader team strategy and direction, alongside offering leadership and mentoring responsibilities for direct reports, as well as the broader team.

What you offer

  • 5-8 years experience in operational risk management or risk assurance within the Financial Services sector
  • Practical understanding of the implementation of risk and control frameworks to manage non-financial risks in highly regulated contexts
  • Experience working with a broad range of stakeholders across global regions and ability to effectively challenge the business
  • Advocate for a strong risk culture, positive customer outcomes and have a flexible perspective on problem solving, innovation and strategic thinking
