Analyst/Senior Analyst, Credit Risk Policy, Frameworks and Governance

This is an exciting opportunity for a high performer to join our team responsible for Credit Risk – Policy, Frameworks and Governance, that sits in the Credit division within our Risk Management Group. The role has a global remit and will be based in Sydney, Australia.

The primary focus will be on wholesale (non-retail and SME) credit risk including derivatives, equity and asset risk. In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the successful delivery and implementation of enhancements to the credit, equity and asset risk management frameworks
  • Contributing to the development and continuous improvement of credit policies
  • Supporting the interpretation and application of credit related regulatory standard requirements
  • Assisting in meeting regulatory responses and requests
  • Change and uplift projects
  • Framework effectiveness including controls, assurance, incident and issue management
  • Supporting reporting to Senior stakeholders, including Board

Your skill set and background includes;

  • 3+ years of experience in Credit Risk in corporate and/or financial markets
  • Exposure to, and familiarity with Credit Policy and/or Prudential Regulation
  • Understanding of financial products and derivatives
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
