Operational Risk Senior Manager - Human Resources

Join the Business Operations Risk Management team and work within Macquarie’s Corporate Operations Group ensuring Operational Risks are appropriately managed in line with Macquarie’s Operational Risk Management Framework.

What role will you play?

As the Global Controls Assurance Lead you will manage Controls Assurance plans and lead and provide oversight of the performance of end-to-end reviews. You will leverage data analytics and digital solutions to test the design and performance of controls, and the identification of improvement opportunities.

You will report on and present risk findings and insights to your stakeholders and provide advice on good risk outcomes as well as facilitating risk workshops and training. Additionally, you will be empowered to raise awareness and drive a strong risk culture across divisions within our Corporate Operations Group.

What you offer

  • 5-8 years experience in operational risk management or risk assurance within the Financial Services sector.
  • Strong knowledge of Human Resource services and how operational risk is managed.
  • Experience working with a broad range of stakeholders across global regions.
  • Experience utilising data analytic tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and confidence to lead conversations with senior business leaders and risk management colleagues regarding anticipated and emerging risks
