Senior Engineer, Data Management

Responsibilities
The Senior Engineer, Data Management is a member of the Data Engineering team responsible for creating and updating ETL data pipelines for a variety of stakeholders across the enterprise. They will define, design, develop, unit test, and support new or existing ETL solutions to meet complicated and time-sensitive business requirements. In addition, the Senior Engineer supports and manages high-severity production incident resolution, performs code reviews, and participates in on-call rotations. They should be comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment and have the skills to troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues independently. Additionally, they will be expected to rigorously document and develop best practices and train and mentor junior developers. The Senior Engineer demonstrates expertise in SQL programming, relational databases, data modeling, and data retrieval methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- At least 5 years of professional experience in ETL development
- At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft SQL databases and SSIS/SSRS development
- Ability to perform complex data analysis and troubleshooting
- Experience writing complex T-SQL 2016 and above
- Experience using SQL Server 2012-2016 SSIS Service Catalog Model
- Experience using SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
- Working knowledge with BPA AutoMate or similar business automation tool
- Familiarity developing software in an Agile environment
- Experience using C# .NET preferred
- Proficient in using Red-Gate tools for SQL Server and SQL Source Control
- Knowledge of AWS and Databricks
